SUMMARY
Experience Ferrari’s legendary racing moments, from the ‘Thousand Miles’ of the Mille Miglia to Ascari and Nurburgring, Le Mans, The Sharknose, the astounding 1-2-3 finish at Daytona and the eras of champion drivers Lauda, Scheckter, Villeneuve and Schumacher.
This historic and immersive multi-media dark-ride features super-scaled video projections, 3D thematic scale European scenery from pre-1947 to the present, digital special effects, custom Ferrari conveyance system, original music and sound design melding seamlessly to sweep guests away into a historical, three-dimensional story of Ferrari's racing legends.
The Racing Legends is a complex and creative technological achievement for one of the world’s most iconic brands. The production schedule, spanning over two years, included direct creative presentations to Ferrari in Maranello, Italy and video projection test in Los Angeles, CA. Final digital media install took place at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, UAE---the world’s largest indoor theme park.
SCOPE
Turnkey look development, design and production of all digital media totaling almost 10 minutes to include: photo real 3D CG historical recreations of races in Le Mans, France and Daytona Beach, Florida. Final frames rendered in 4K for massive projections up to 120 feet across and includes live action with green screen digital video production, comp and VFX, exhaustive documentary film and archival still research, pepper’s ghost projection, intense 2D/3D design and motion graphics all with original music score and sound design to picture.
